Oh lord, these are terrible. Forgive me.

I have to design an environment for them, so meanwhile I will do some redesigns on the characters. They were all done in one night. -__-;

Died Young Stayed Pretty - movie poster

Poster for a documentary called "Died Young Stayed Pretty" by Eileen Yaghoobian. Really frustrating project, as we're running into the end of the school year and I am running out of strength and patience. Eventually got it to where I wanted it and am quite satisfied.

Second image is the redo, with more watercolor in the background and a black border for clarity. Also changed the ink on the butterfly via Adobe Photoshop CS4 clone tool. Cropping may be slightly different, not sure. The typography is handmade, done with the inkdropper like the rest of the lines. Alphabet below.

"Androids" - fin

This was the first attempt to finalize the "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" book cover. Too much black, not enough paper coming through. Weak composition. The professor asked me to redo it, which I thought he might do. Watercolor and ink. lines dones with inkdropper.

This is the redo, which I like a lot more aesthetically but didn't improve my grade much because it's lacking any sort of narrative quality. A learning experience! I am glad my professor took the time to discuss it with me and allow the redo. Graphite, watercolor, and ink. Lines done with inkdropper.
